They advise us to play it safe and do things the way we've always done them in order to avoid being hurt, embarrassed, or rejected, but you don't have to listen to them all of the time. In fact, performing things that your conscience considers dangerous or out of the ordinary is a terrific approach to boost your confidence.

Music is excellent at eliciting emotions. Turn on some upbeat music when you want to feel more assured.
